Safe handling

Properly packaging, storing, and transporting breastmilk is critical to keeping it safe for your baby. I follow the guidelines provided by the Mayo Clinic.

If you have any reason to believe that your milk has not been packaged, stored, or transported properly or is in any way contaminated or compromised, throw it out and do not give it to your baby.
